We are southern Sudanese young men born just before and after the second phase of our country's civil war. We studied primary and secondary schools in the then English southern Sudan. In 1992, we escaped spla indiscriminate bombardment and shelling of our home town, Juba and moved to the nations capital where we finished senior education and started higher education.

Having been born and raised in the government side of war torn Sudan, and having first hand experience of life as black Christians living among Arab Muslims in northern Sudan, we have decided to put our experiences, views and opinions on this internet site to draw to the attention of all the young men in the nation, most of whom are victims of misinformation spread by both warring parties in the country.

Our main target is southern Sudanese teenagers, young men and women who have access to the internet.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our site. Your comments, suggestions and testimonies are highly welcome. We would also like to invite to you to join our discussion board here and post your comments. Click on photos to send us individual e-mails.

Objectives

  • To raise the awareness of sossas both inside Sudan and in Diaspora of the situation faced by Sossas living within the Beshir regime.
  •  To encourage the southerners to vote for separation after the proposed interim period
  • To raise awareness to the social discrimination which has become a reality be faced by all southerners living under the regime.
  • To make known human right abuses, inflicted by both parties in the war, against southerners, especially by Beshir's regime.
  • To unite young sossas and help them voice out their opinions on issues regarding their future in a unified or separated Sudan.

Sincerely,
